About the Wedding
The wedding will be held over a weekend Friday to Sunday, most people staying Saturday to Sunday. The ceremony and party will take place on Saturday. Friday evening is reserved for barbeque and chill with family. The ceremony will be held outside, but dinner and party are of course inside. No need to push our luck in April. Activities, accomodation, ceremony etc will all be held at the same place, Rockelstad Castle. Last but not least, there will be an open bar.
Accommodation / Boende
The castle and its wing buildings are lent out by the owners who don't participate in the planning of the wedding or organising accommodation. Jonathan and Klara have therefore planned the accommodation for everybody. You will receive information abour your room seperately. The buildings are old and may be a bit chilly in April. A lot of the rooms have its own bathroom and toilet however some are bunkbeds and shared rooms. We hope you will stay with us and experience the castle. If you prefer a hotelroom then you could look for rooms in Flen or Nyköping that are roughly 30 min away by car.
You will be allocated a room that Jonathan and Klara has decided. The castle is semi-old and not all rooms have its own bathroom. Family members will be prioritized for bedrooms with its own bathroom. We hope everybody will stay over for the night and experience the castle together!

The cost for sleeping over will be made to Jonathan or Klara by Swish or Bank transfer. We kindly request that payments for the rooms are made before 2024-04-23 (note that this date has been corrected). We will inform of the cost for staying separately via e-mail before 6th of April.
Food such as dinner and breakfast will be included in the price.
Language / Språk
The majority of the ceremonial stuff during the wedding will be in Swedish but the most important parts, like the I-Do-thing, will be held in English as well. Guests are free to choose Swedish or English for their speeches.
Majoriteten av bröllopet är på Svenska och gäster får välja svenska eller engelska för eventuella tal.
Dress code / Klädkod
The dress code for the wedding is Formal-ish. This means a 2-piece suit in the colour of your choice. It also means a dress below the knees and Klara wants to be the only one in a white dress so Jonathan knows where she is.
Klädkod för bröllopet är Mörk Kavaj-ish. Det innebär matchande kavaj i valfri färg. Alternativt klänning nedom knäna och Klara är helst den enda personen i vit klänning så Jonathan vet var hon är.

Packing list / packlista
* Blanket / filt: ceremony probably held outside / vigsel utomhus
* Weather-smart clothes / Kläder efter väder : for the ceremony outside.

Apart from this, pack your usual stuff. Sheets for the bed, toilet paper and soap will be provided in the rooms.
Wishlist / Önskelista
We kindly wish for donations primarily to our honeymoon. If you have a specific gift you would like to give us, that is okay aswell.
We have decided to go to Malaga in Spain directly after our wedding and will be spending a week there to relax by the coast. Then we will be making our way up towards Barcelona and then a bit further to a little French village up in the mountains. We have some suggestions on what you can donate to, please send us a little note with what you think we should do:
* Upgrade to first class flight
* A first nice dinner together to begin the honeymoon
* Kite surfing in Malaga
* A day trip to Alhambra in Granada
* Snorkeling and kayaking in Almuñecar
* A book for Klara to read on the train to Madrid

** Any other activity or place to visit during our trip of your choosing.
Vi önskar donationer främst till vår smekmånad. Om du har en annan särskild present du vill ge oss är det självfallet också okej.
Vi har bestämt oss för att åka till Malaga i Spanien och ska tillbringa en vecka där för att koppla av vid kusten. How to get there?
The Castle is roughly 90 minutes from Stockholm by car or 2h 30min by train and bus.
Driving
Hiring a car and driving is the easiest way of getting to Rockelstad. There will most likely be several cars driving from Stockholm.
Train & Bus
Sweden has the government-owned train operator "SJ" and on their website you can enter the destination "Flen" where you can take a taxi to Rockelstad slott.
There are buses that go past Rockelstad slott from Nyköping aswell. They stop 5 minutes walk from the castle.
Otherwise you can take a bus to Sparreholm from Gnesta where you might find a taxi or we could organise a pick-up.
